The research discusses the thematic about the internship importance in teacher´s formation to age groups from 0 to 5 years, having as subjects trainees of the pedagogy course from Universidade do Vale do Itajaí (Brazil), in 2014 and from Corso di Laurea Magistrale Quinquennale a Ciclo Unico Scienze della Scuola Primaria indirizzo Scuola dell’Infanzia dell’Università degli Studi di Firenze (Italy), in 2015. The data were collected through semi-structured interviews and analysis of documents from de respective courses. The research was based in the studies of (Bondioli & Ferrari, 2008; Calvani, 2014; Catarsi, 2014; Catarsi & Fortunati, 2012; Gomes, 2009; Pimenta & Lima, 2012; Silva, 2014). The data analysis, guided in the qualitative approach of the research (Bogdan and Biklen, 1994), focuses several traits expressed in the route of the trainees, of both universities, signaling that sometimes the students do not understand the connection between theory and practice, referring to the internship in the child education. It is important to highlight the fact that, in this moment, the intention was not to compare the two contexts, however it is kept the suggestion to future researchers that plan to enlarge the debate and analysis in around the weaknesses in this research.
