Objective: Suicide is the 10th cause of death in US, among which self-poisoning is the 3th cause (2.1/100.000 population).[1] Deliberate self-harm (DHS) poisoning for attempting suicide accounted for 10.5% of queries to US Poison Centers and 31.7% of all fatalities [2] in 2013. In our experience, relationship problems are an important cause for toxicological DHS. Our aim was to investigate epidemiological, demographic and clinical aspects of love-related DHS.
