Procedure linguistiche e pragmatiche nel discorso politico

This article deals with a classic theme for the theories of political discourse, i.e. its use (de)legitimizing by evoking symbols and beliefs and creating meaningful relationships. That is, I will try to understand how the ability of political language to influence the beliefs and the way of thinking of the people depends on what Bourdieu (2001) calls the ‘legitimate vision of the social world’. The effectiveness of political discourse and its outcome in favour of or against a certain point of view is created not only in culture and basic social groups, but first of all in life processes and identities that include people. The narration of the society and the system of beliefs and values that make people imagine and see it, represents a semantic submerged flow that configures our life, in time and space.
