The paper describes the methodology followed toward the final objective of building an operational model system for hindcasting and forecasting sea states from the open ocean to the shoreline. The main method to represent wave processes both in deep and shallow water are illustrated, as well as the criteria to select the more suitable numerical model for each different time and spatial scale.

Abstract
The paper describes the methodology followed toward the final objective of building an operational model system for hindcasting and forecasting sea states from the open ocean to the shoreline. The main method to represent wave processes both in deep and shallow water are illustrated, as well as the criteria to select the more suitable numerical model for each different time and spatial scale.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
