The objective of the text, presented here, is to describe a methodology that, starting from a complete 3D laser scanner survey, integrates the diagnostic and structural investigations on the building in the analysis, in view of the consolidation project. the Cathedral of Santa Maria La Real in Sasamon allows you to retrace the entire process applied to a monumental building from the results of the archaeological analysis to the deformation analysis, which are closely related. At last structural survey stands as a necessary tool to the designer to draw up the consolidation project, providing all relevant information to the structural calculation and at the same time showing how it has evolved over the years in the province of Burgos the concept of restoration.
