The survey explores the ways Ol'ga Berggol'c acquires a subjective point of view on surrounding historical reality - the Leningrade Blokade in URSS - through the analysis of her secret diary, written during the blokade. In order to state the point, the survey relies also on a comparative analysis of other blokade diaries, at different extents influenced by propaganda or by overwhelming circumstances.
