Abstract

Experiments using new quantum devices based on ultracold atoms, namely atom interferometers and atomic clocks, to test fundamental physics laws are discussed. For some experiments, the full potentialities of these new systems can only be achieved in space. Prospects for cold atoms experiments in space are presented.
