In this paper an experimental and numerical analysis of in plane loaded masonry brick walls is reported. The experimental test program reported in the paper has regarded uniaxial load and diagolan tests. The mechanical behavior of the material has been schematized by a no tension material model particularized to a discrete approach. The prediction of the numerical scheme compare well with the experiments.

Abstract

In this paper an experimental and numerical analysis of in plane loaded masonry brick walls is reported. The experimental test program reported in the paper has regarded uniaxial load and diagolan tests. The mechanical behavior of the material has been schematized by a no tension material model particularized to a discrete approach. The prediction of the numerical scheme compare well with the experiments.
