We find the semi-classical expansion of theWigner quasi-distribution matrix corresponding to the thermal equilibrium of a quantum system described by a two-band Kane Hamiltonian. The terms of the expansion up to second order are explicitly computed. The second-order approximation is compared with the exact distribution in the space-homogeneous case.
