This paper deals with syzygies of the ideals of Segre embeddings. Let d be greater or equal than 3 and n_1, . . . , n_d nonzero natural numbers. We prove that the Segre embeddings of P^n_1 ×···×P^n_d satisfies Green–Lazarsfeld’s property N_p if and only if p is less or equal than 3.
