La vegetazione della Riserva Naturale Alta Valle del Tevere - Monte Nero (Arezzo, Toscana) ed i suoi aspetti di interesse botanico-conservazionistico

The vegetation of the Alta Valle del Tevere - Monte Nero Natural Reserve (Tuscany) and its botanical conservation aspects. A vegetation survey of grasslands, shrublands and woods of the Alta Valle del Tevere - Monte Nero Natural Reserve was carried out by means of phytosociolocical relevés and of literature data analyses. The survey led to the recognition of several vegetation types: pioneer erbaceous communities; montane semimesophilous and mesophilous grasslands; shrublands; mesoigrophilous and subacidophilous beech communities; Tilio-Acerion communities; woods with Quercus cerris, Acer obtusatum and Ostrya carpinfolia of different types. A vegetation map is reported. Finally we point out to the high naturalistic value of this area by listing floristic species and vegetation habitats of conservation relevance.
