Abstract

This study includes preliminary considerations and results concerning the development and the validation of a physical model for leaf wetness duration measurement working in topographical way, taking advantage from high quality precipitation fields supplied by the GPM - 500 polarimetric radar, and from dense network measurements provided by weather stations available in Friuli Venezia Giulia region.
