This presentation reviewes some recent trends in the area of computational electromagnetics in Italy; the research reviewed here refers solely to the groups involved in the “Antenna Center of Excellence” (ACE) Network of Excellence, and the research reported here will be focused on application to array antennas. A substantial part of the reported modeling advances can be unified under the effort of recognizing the multi-scale nature of the problem, and consistently implementing it into the numerical formulation.

Abstract
