Risk Based Inspection (RBI) methods with Bayesian Networks (BNs). The RBI proposes to calculate the risk associated with the components of a system, with the help of some independent variables including, for example, Inspection and Damage Factors. The small number of variables is the first limitation of this model. The second limit is not to treat their mutual relations. The model proposed here aims to mitigate the restrictions mentioned above with the help of modeling through BNs. On the one hand, it expands the number of parameters and on the other it will analyze their relationship through the use of Bayesian Networks. In the end a case study is developed.

Abstract
Risk Based Inspection (RBI) methods with Bayesian Networks (BNs). The RBI proposes to calculate the risk associated with the components of a system, with the help of some independent variables including, for example, Inspection and Damage Factors. The small number of variables is the first limitation of this model. The second limit is not to treat their mutual relations. The model proposed here aims to mitigate the restrictions mentioned above with the help of modeling through BNs. On the one hand, it expands the number of parameters and on the other it will analyze their relationship through the use of Bayesian Networks. In the end a case study is developed.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
