In this letter, the capabilities of two tomographic ap- proaches for subsurface prospecting have been tested against labo- ratory-controlled data. The first approach is a noniterative method based on the Born approximation, while the second one is a non- linear iterative approach. Despite some simplifications adopted in modeling the scenario, both approaches have provided satisfying results.
