Aim of the study was to evaluate social and affective relationship, satisfaction in love affair and illness acceptance in an Italian group of epileptic outpatients. In our exploratory study patients with good illness acceptance and good social relations report only minimal impairment of the life activity. Additional analyses are currently still in progress with a larger sample.
