Stiffness family of composite glass interlayer is generally evaluated by dynamical mechanical analysis; Williams Landel Ferry equation is applied in order to build a “master curve” where elastic parameters are reported at a reference temperature against frequency. Some problems are still opened on this subject: the influence of adhesion with glass; the distribution of stress according to the mode of oscillation; the reliability of W-L-F equation to reproduce the behavior of polymers employed as interlayer in the structural life of the composite.
