This paper is aimed at studying the link between monetary poverty and home tenure among older population in Europe. Share 2004 data are used to delineate the profile of old people who do not have ccess to home ownership. Other things being equal, poor people appear also more likely to be excluded from home ownership than the not poor, especially if they are women living in enlarged families or men and women living alone.
