Abstract

Adaptive channel equalization is an effective tool for the antenna receiver for estimating the information sequence in severe interference backgrounds. Therefore, the problem of linear channel distortion has been the focus of considerable research in the signal processing and communications communities. The choice of antenna receiver structure is a challenge for next radio communication systems, because on this will depend most of the improvement possible with efficient DSP devices. The two possible streets of development are the use of omnidirectional antennas or antenna arrays. Our paper provides innovative adaptive equalizers working on different not necessarily Gaussian environmental conditions
