This paper introduces a modeling framework for the analysis of safety and resiliency properties of Unmanned Aircraft Vehicles within Aeronautical Communications Networking (ATN). It first depicts the system under analysis. Then it presents an overview of the framework, showing its building-blocks and their interactions. Then it provides some more details on the module assessing, through a Bayesian Network approach, the fault and risk probabilities affecting the network.

Abstract

This paper introduces a modeling framework for the analysis of safety and resiliency properties of Unmanned Aircraft Vehicles within Aeronautical Communications Networking (ATN). It first depicts the system under analysis. Then it presents an overview of the framework, showing its building-blocks and their interactions. Then it provides some more details on the module assessing, through a Bayesian Network approach, the fault and risk probabilities affecting the network.
