Abstract

In the context of the archaeological survey conducted by the Chair of Archaeology of the Ancient Near East and the Chair of Hittitology of the University of Florence in the area of Yozgat, the present paper aims to show the preliminary results focusing in particular on epigraphic findings. The fragment of clay tablet UK 09.Ob2 is here presented in stranliteration and Translation. It is probably part of a mythological text, without parallels among the documents from Ḫattuša, where some deities and characters are involved: mention remains of the Sun-god of Sky, the Tutelary Deity LAMMA, the Dark Earth (daga(n)z[ipa-), and the Beloved (?)
