The current political, economic and value crisis leads to loss of social identity as citizens and workers. Individuals perceive themselves as excluded, “rightless” and guilty of inadequacy. The contributions present an experience of support groups with the unemployed in Italy and an experience of bringing psychological resources and support to urban families living in poverty in the U.S.
