The lumped element antenna circuit synthesis was analyzed for determining antenna input impedance. An automatic genetic algorithm was used to estimate the topology of the equivalent circuit. The method, besides recovering the values of the lumped elements, also automatically synthesizes the topology of the equivalent circuit. The test results were obtained for a few simple and complex cases of a wire antenna over a wide frequency range.
