La vegetazione relitta a dominanza di farnia (Quercus robur L.) del Bosco dei Renacci e di altri popolamenti simili presenti nella porzione basale della conca intermontana del Valdarno Superiore tra Incisa e San Giovanni Valdarno (Toscana).

The relic Quercus robur-dominated vegetation of the «Bosco dei Renacci» and other similar coenoses located near Arno River between Incisa and San Giovanni Valdarno (Upper Arno Valley, Tuscany) - A vegetation survey of relic woods dominated by Quercus robur located near Arno River between Incisa and San Giovanni Valdarno was carried out by means of phytosociolocical relevés and of literature data analyses. The conenoses were referred to an impoverished aspect of Polygonato multiflori-Quercetum roboris ulmetosum minoris Sartori 1984. Finally we point out to the naturalistic value of this area being this vegetation type referred to an habitat of European and regional conservation relevance.
