Abstract

The multiplicities of gamma-rays emitted in the giant dipole resonance decay of Pb-200 have been measured in coincidence with both evaporation residues and fission fragments. The experimental data have been compared with results of statistical calculations which take into account dynamical fission hindrance. The fission probabiiity distribution has been determined as a function of excitation energy.
