Abstract
The paper explores a potential method making use of signal coding for the simultaneous measurement of all four elements of a target scattering matrix with a polarimetric radar. The method is based upon a simultaneous transmission of two signals on two orthogonal polarization channels. The method, although increasing the radar system complexity, potentially allows to overcome the limitation of the measurement accuracy introduced by the fast polarization switch as well as to improve both polarization and Doppler processing of radar signalsI documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
