Taguchi's method is a quality design technique recently expanded to multiobjective optimization and electromagnetic engineering problems. This novel technique is applied here to multibeam array synthesis and compared to a standard multiobjective genetic algorithm. Results indicate fast convergence, good spreading, and a good number of nondominated solutions.

Abstract
