The objective of the PRE.DI.CO project (PREvention of Diabetes in Val di COrnia area) is to apply the FINDRISC, an effective and inexpensive initial screening tool, in a prevalence study aimed at identifying individuals at high risk for the development of type 2 diabetes, who can benefit the most from preventive interventions, and those with unknown diabetes.
