Novos olhares para novos pertencimentos: Museus e competências transculturais

Today, even more rapidly, the phenomena of globalization on the one hand led to cultural contacts more frequent and widespread, with a change of spatial scale and temporal level, which annulled the mediations and requires the interpretation of cultural plurality, perceived as pervasive, "here and now". It is always more, however, to overcome a mere aware of cultural pluralism to find real forms of interculturalism. If intercultural dialogue means communication, relationship between different points of view, complementary visions of the term transcultural can put in evidence the possibility of going beyond the relationship and create something new, which born of the encounter, but it goes beyond the meeting: something qualitatively different that does not yet exist, it has to be built and is located on a different plan, which requires interpretation of various codes. But which may be spaces to build relationships which have unprecedented successes? A museum can also become territory of mediation, encounter and confrontation, loans and exchanges: the museum itself seems to be the place of the relationship between different knowledge.
