This paper aims to analyze, at the sub-national level, the redistributive effects of decoupling aids as they are provided by the new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP). These impacts are assessed examining the financial flows between farms in the Region of Tuscany in light of an hypothesis of scenario regarding the monetary value of the regionalized aid. The evaluation of the new farm payment is compared with the farm added value, taking into account the main measures of the CAP: Small farm scheme, Direct Payments and Greening. The methodological approach followed in this research, while limiting the analysis for a single Region, is to consider analytically the universe of farms that have had access to direct payments in 2012, elaborating the database provide by the Tuscan regional agency for funding in agriculture (ARTEA). The results highlight a potentially critical situation that is strongly dependent from the criteria that will be used for the redistribution of the entire national aid to each Regions.
