Abstract

In order to improve the training proposal of the Italian jury found it to be essential, as a first step, investigate the real needs of visual training, virtual and real, of a random sample, as well as representative of the judging body of GAM and GAF. In order to give new impetus to the trainers and suggestions we have listed the main techniques, both scientific and empirical, mostly known and used to date in order to allow judges an assessment of the skills necessary in the best judge a gymnastic exercise, expressing also an assessment of need on the current and future educational models The instrument used was a questionnaire with multiple choice options "closed" for the first 16 items and "open" as it regarded the last question. In reference to the structured questions were related to what they believed more or less important in a range of responses that ranged from "yes, important" (with a range of gradation from 1 to 5, this maximum value of importance ), "no, not important" (absolute value) or "do not know". The selection options for the answer were given in Italian / English to a sample of 136 units: 56 international judges (Spanish, Belgian, Dutch, French and Italian) and 80 national courts of various levels of technical and qualification. The judges who participated in the revelation of voluntary and anonymous during special training sessions or meetings of the jury before national and international competitions.
