Recent developments in the field of thin film manufacturing resulted in the production of a wide range of new materials for photovoltaic application. A particular interest focuses on thin films realized by mild approaches, as electrochemical deposition, giving the opportunity of working under standard laboratory conditions without requiring expensive vacuum equipments.
