Abstract
A steering head for a motorcycle, comprising: a stator tubular element (1) defining an inner surface (1a), two caps (4, 5) that close respective axial ends of said stator element (1); a rotor (2) defining an outer surface (2a), arranged within said stator element (1); an annular gap (3) that runs around said axis (X) between said stator element (1) and said rotor (2) and containing a magnetorheological fluid (MR); at least one stator blade (10) radially projecting from said inner surface (1a) of said stator element (1); at least one rotor blade (20) radially projecting from said outer surface (2a) of said rotor (2); at least two chambers (30) of said gap (3) being defined between said blades; said at least one stator blade (10) and said at least one rotor blade (20) having respective head faces (10a, 20a) that define radial slits (31, 32) in cooperation with, respectively, said outer surface (2a) of said rotor (2) and said inner surface (1a) of said stator element (1), said radial slits being adapted to permit the exchange of said fluid between said chambers (30) in response to a variation in angular position of said shaft (2) with respect to said stator element; and means for generating an electromagnetic field arranged on said at least one stator blade (10) and/or said at least one rotor blade (20) configured so as to generate a magnetic field that affects substantially only the fluid contained in said slits.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
