Città intelligente, città giusta? Tecnologia e giustizia socio-spaziale

Intelligent city, just city? Technology and socio-spatial justice. – Technology plays a more and more pervasive and central role in our lives in cities. This contribution, in the wider framework of socio-spatial justice, analyses main changes in terms of socio-spatial inclusion and exclusion related to technology development processes. Such development is read and analysed, especially in cities, according to three fundamental and interconnected dimensions of justice: distributive, procedural, and recognition. This contribution also refers to urban policies and, in specific, to the “smart city” model – the technological and intelligent city – that, starting from the European level, has had a growing attention and implementation in the Italian context as a possible way out from the socio-economic crisis and as a post-recession strategy.
