Uno stamnos attico dalla necropoli etrusca di San Germano (Gavorrano, GR): fortuna e sfortuna di un problematico vaso dal territorio di Vetulonia

New excavations have recently been carried out at the site of the ancient Etruscan city of Vetulonia. Thanks to the collaborative work of the Tuscan Soprintendenza per i Beni Archeologici and the Department of Etruscology at the University of Florence, the remains of various grave goods belonging to the large burial in Tumulus 9 of the Necropolis of San Germano, near Gavorrano (Grosseto), have been recovered. Particularly remarkable amongst these finds is a red-figure stamnos, found in the northern wing of the vestibule.
