Quale informazione sintattica viene interpretata dai fenomeni fonosintattici ? Evidenza dalle varietà italiane meridionali

In this article we investigate the relation between syntax and phonology in a framework in which phonology, as an interpretive component, works together morphology in the process of externalization of the sentence. We examine the data concerning phonosyintactic phenomena, i.e. phonological processes conditioned by the syntactic context, and specifically the propagation of /u/ and the realization of final –a finale, in Southern Italian varieties.
