An Information and Communication Technology (ICT) system was designed to support the process of cataloguing a huge collection of historic moulds belonging to a porcelain manufactory. This system uses a digital catalogue and exploits Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technologies for the identification and location of the moulds in a warehouse. A prototype of this composite system was realized and its effectiveness was tested on a sample of 200 sets of moulds.

Abstract
