The data base "Abitare Mediterraneo" allows searching for innovative products and technologies for the construction industry aimed at saving energy in the territory of the Mediterranean basin. The project stems from the grouping of twelve leading companies in the region of Tuscany and university research centers coordinated by the Department of Technology for Architecture and Design, funded by Tuscany region. The research has contributed to the structuring of a multimedia Library as a means of cataloging and consultation of the results, achieved through the stages of verification / testing. The database has been structured as an open system that allows you to directly analyze the energy performance of technological solutions on the market, the different configurations and operating conditions of innovative systems developed and subjects to verification activities of the energy performance and thermal-hygrometric. As part of this activity has proved indispensable: • Identify the criteria for performance evaluation of existing products in terms of energy efficiency and develop a new abacus to archive the data • Define the criteria for cataloging and creating a database for results successful of research / experimentation, for identification of new use of building space and for cataloging of new legislation of interest. • Analyze the energy performance of commercial systems to the different configurations and operating conditions and developing a schedule for implementation of database systems. Through the database, the partner companies will be able to market products compatible and certified "Abitare Mediterraneo" and evaluate their function within the typological solutions: The designer and the end user can be assured of efficient building systems and tested.

Abstract
Through the database, the partner companies will be able to market products compatible and certified "Abitare Mediterraneo" and evaluate their function within the typological solutions: The designer and the end user can be assured of efficient building systems and tested.I documenti in FLORE sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
