Modalità di redazione e gestione dei documenti del sistema qualità in area ostetrica

With the aim of improving the level of quality in health care, hospital agencies are equipping themselves with instruments capable of meeting the standards of what is defined as the "quality system". The utility of this path derives from a double demand: 1) to give uniformity in medical staff behaviour based on the best references existing in medical literature and implemented in each individual reality: 2) to provide, indirectly, an instrument of protection, also for medico-legal purposes, to those who work in the health field. In the Obstetric Area of the Department of Maternal Infantile Integrated Activity of the Hospital - University of Careggi Agency, a group of doctors have established guidelines and shared protocols for the management of daily obstetrical activity. The scope of this article is to provide a detailed description of the procedure adopted when implementing such controls, in order to offer a useful support for whoever wants to undertake a similar path, based, above all, on the maximum exchange of experience, an indispensable element in order to be able to guarantee the highest adhesion in its use.
