This study was conducted to investigate the effect of season endocrine profile of Creole goats of the semiarid region of Brazil. Hormonal traits were considered during the dry (December) and rainy (July) seasons of 60 adult goats (1 to 2 years old). The air temperature (AT), black globe temperature (BGT) and relative humidity (RH) were measured by an automated weather station. The observed hormonal parameters were thyroxine (T4), triiodothyronine (T3) and cortisol (COR). Data were analyzed using Statistical Analysis System with the GLM procedure (p<0.01). The average air temperature in the rainy and dry season exceeded the upper critical temperature is 35 ° C but also surpassed the lower critical temperature is 19 ° C. Only in the rainy season morning shift, the temperature was below the upper critical temperature. Thyroid hormones showed high values in the wet season and low in the dry season, while cortisol had an opposite pattern. This change in different seasons promote reduction in the metabolism once the hormones facilitate the mechanisms involved in climatic adaptation. In the process of adaptation of the animals should be observed physiological and hormonal parameters together. The hormonal characteristics have changed during the different seasons.

Abstract
This change in different seasons promote reduction in the metabolism once the hormones facilitate the mechanisms involved in climatic adaptation. In the process of adaptation of the animals should be observed physiological and hormonal parameters together.
