Progetto tra integrazione e interazione: il caso di Stoccarda.

Along with its static and functional coherence, a new building as a basic requirement will have to hold the intrinsic capacity to minimize the impact that its constituent materials, its shape, its construction and its functioning will have on the environment where they are inserted. It comes the need to divulge the environmental message in an architectural form introducing a new sustainability language for the contemporary architecture.The result of integrating the various aspects of design has led, in this case, to a synthesis between form, structure and materials enclosed in an harmonious, flexible and readable building.The choice towards a functional, bare and essential architecture, which renounces an expressive formalism, allows a structural rigours almost industrial, in a solution that have planned the interaction between different building systems: the reinforced concrete, '900 main technique; the multilayer panels of solid wood, an ancient material with modern technology that relies on lightness and eco-friendly "appeal"; the mixed steel-concrete sections and the technology of prestressed reinforced concrete.
