A new organogelating moiety, 1, is proposed as a suitable and versatile building block for the production of other gelling compounds. Linking 1 with several different molecular fragments afforded new gels with different properties. A detailed investigation of the ferrocene substituted gelator is reported in this study.

Abstract
A new organogelating moiety, 1, is proposed as a suitable and versatile building block for the production of other gelling compounds. Linking 1 with several different molecular fragments afforded new gels with different properties. A detailed investigation of the ferrocene substituted gelator is reported in this study.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
