The adoption of biostimulants may contribute to reduce the use of agrochemicals and the environmental impact of intensive cultivation systems. An increasing attention to the reuse of organic matter has led to the diffusion of new eco sustainable strategies for biowaste management. In this experiment, the biostimulant properties of two fermented urban biowaste werewas tested on Hibiscus palustris. Plants were grown in 4 Llitre pots containing peat and pumice (50 % V/V), under optimal nutrient and climatice conditions. The two products were added as a powder blended with the substrate at transplant (50% of the total dose) and through fertigation during the cultivation (50% of the total dose). Plant biomass characteristics were measured at the end the cultivation during the destructive analysis. The tested products showed a positive effect on most of the investigated parameters, increasing significantly biomass dry weight, plant height and volume, and SPAD index

Abstract
The adoption of biostimulants may contribute to reduce the use of agrochemicals and the environmental impact of intensive cultivation systems. An increasing attention to the reuse of organic matter has led to the diffusion of new eco sustainable strategies for biowaste management.
