The essay deals with the issue of the spread of so-called “trade union model of prevention” in Italy in the '70s. In those years there has been a veritable revolution in the system of industrial relations and a decentralization in the form and content of trade union negotiation. Within this process the theme of working conditions and the question of the environmental and occupational prevention is affirmed as central to new forms of representation at the plant level. The movement of shop stewards adopts the "”trade union model of prevention” and socializing between employees and delegates, making him move and experiencing it through an extensive training in the “150-hour courses”.
