Tannins are scarcely biodegradable and widely present in tannery effluents. Fungal biomass could represent a possible treatment for recalcitrants, nevertheless few bench reactors were used in not sterile conditions with a fungal biofilm. In this study, a quebracho tannin solution was treated through an attached growth system inoculated with Aspergillus tubingensis (MUT 990).

Abstract
