This is the abstract of the Myenaean Seminar held by the author at the Institute for Classical Studies in London in 2010, after been awarded by the Ventris Memorial Award. It presents a summary of the fist results of the international project 'Mycenaean Textiles: Texts and Contexts": an outline of the state of the art, of the aims of the project and first first-hand work, and finally some of the author's conclusions on the economic organisation of Mycenaean Thebes.
