Identity, otherness, culture and difference are founding concepts of the intercultural pedagogical discourse, which in recent years has been object of deep critical reflections by human and social scientists on Pedagogy. This article analyzes some arguments offered by these Sciences, in particular regarding the notions of identity and otherness. The breadth of this theme is composed by the choice of affirming itself on some individual authors among those in which thought results particularly from and according to the pedagogical/educational knowledge.
