The following essay reflects on the contribution made by Zygmunt Bauman, through his literary work, in the field of education and its relation to immigration phenomenon. Subsequently the article will analyze the issue of “foreign unaccompanied minors” in connection to the theories and principles of Bauman and those of Reuven Feuerstein. Lastly, I will present a series of educational projects for “foreign unaccompanied minors”, realized by Reuven Feuerstein. The aim of this article is to reflect on some of the educational challenges that professional educators have to face and tackle during this post-modern age.

Abstract
