The essay describes the intermediate results of the Pebble international research where blended and embedded learning models have been tested in some of the european prison settings in Pescara, Athens, Nicosia. Starting from basic skills learning the approaches that are being tested refer to different theoretical paradigms (experiential learning, situated learning, informal learning, distance learning).
