Abstract

The appearance of a photonic band gap in the dispersion relation of a coupled lines structure realized with two topologically protected metawaveguide is here presented. We show its possible exploitation to realize multiport devices and an electronically tunable approach which can be used to modulate the eigenfrequencies of the resulting structure is proposed.
